The Design Society Journal N°8
Our cover contribution for The Design Society Journal N°8 — ANEW.
For our contribution, we felt the Braille System, from a graphical & aesthetic standpoint is still an amazing yet relevant tool today.
And as Louis Braille aptly puts it across: “so that blind people would no longer be despised or patronized by condescending sighted people.”
The cells read as:
“What you are looking at right now can only be interpreted by touch. Amazing isn’t it?”
There’s 60 different cover designs from 60 design agencies/designers. Each printed and produced in tightly controlled quantities and
retails for $25. Now let’s re-tweet this in braille, shall we?
